Job summary

RES is seeking a Senior Authorised Person (33kV) to operate and maintain utility-scale solar/wind/battery sites across the UK. The role is site-based with some travel, weekend/on-call duties, and training opportunities. You must hold or have recently held 11-33kV SAP status and hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, basic protection testing, fault-finding, and delivering training to subcontractors and staff while ensuring RES safety rules are followed.

Qualifications

• SOPs and HV safety rules knowledge.
• Experience with HV protection testing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve health and safety standards.
• Carry out basic HV protection testing and switching tasks.
• Troubleshoot and fault-find on RES equipment.
• Induct and train subcontractors; manage in-house staff.
• Coordinate with O&M office and external stakeholders.
