Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Group is seeking a Principal Human Factors professional to lead HF work packages across Nuclear, Rail, Defence and Infrastructure sectors. You will drive technical leadership, cultivate client relationships, and shape HF strategies across complex programmes in the UK.

You will contribute to ongoing capability development, support bids, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while travelling to client sites as required.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Human Factors work packages in high-hazard or regulated industries.
• Proven ability to translate HF methods into practical project outcomes.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible technical and project leadership within the Human Factors team.
• Develop and maintain trusted client relationships and identify growth opportunities.
• Shape Human Factors strategies and scopes across multidisciplinary programmes.
• Lead on HF deliverables, regulatory engagements and safety case inputs.
• Coordinate and manage technical delivery in line with project programmes.
• Support bid development and strategic initiatives in HF.
