Job summary

SEA Ltd is seeking a Senior Human Factors Engineer based at one of our Beighton, Bristol, or Barnstaple sites. The role requires onsite presence two days weekly and offers a circa £60k salary depending on experience.

You will lead HF Integration across SEA products, shaping design for usability and meeting customer HF requirements. The role interfaces with multiple engineering disciplines and stakeholders to deliver HF artefacts through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Ergonomics/Human Factors, Psychology, or Engineering with HF specialist
• Experience delivering HF deliverables to defence or safety-critical standards (e.g., DEF STAN 00-251)
• Proven ability to lead Human Factors Integration on defence/safety-critical projects
• Experience with mixed-method study design and end-user trials

Responsibilities

• Lead HF Integration delivery across SEA products and projects.
• Influence design to ensure usability and HF customer requirements.
• Plan, estimate and deliver HF work packages through bid, design, verification and in-service support.
• Communicate complex HF concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
