Job summary

Qualifications

• Senior-level HSEQ leadership experience in a COMAH site or heavily regulated industry.
• Proven track record delivering HSEQ system and process improvements.
• Extensive experience leading and developing Safety and Quality teams.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Degree-qualified (or equivalent level of underpinning technical knowledge).
• IOSH Diploma (or equivalent) and CMIOSH.
• Lead Assessor qualification (ISAS or equivalent).
• CCNSG certification (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead HSE strategy, policies, programmes and initiatives aligned to current and future business needs.
• Monitor and improve HSE systems, standards and behaviours to meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
• Developing and delivering audit programmes and management plans to ensure safe, compliant, quality delivery.
• Driving innovation and continuous improvement initiatives to uplift HSEQ performance across the organisation.
• Owning and enhancing quality management and H&S systems, practices, and procedures.
• Acting as the senior HSEQ representative with the client and wider stakeholders, providing assurance and technical input.
• Partnering with leadership teams to consistently promote and role model HSEQ culture.
• Building and developing the HSE function: structure, capability, recruitment, performance, and succession planning.
