Job summary

Millbank Holdings Ltd in London is seeking a Senior Health & Safety Advisor to lead safety strategy on a major infrastructure programme. You will influence operational leadership, champion best practice across health, safety and wellbeing, and drive continuous improvement on complex construction activities.

You will conduct audits, investigations and safety campaigns, mentor junior professionals, review plans and procedures, and report on KPI performance.

Qualifications

• Must hold NEBOSH qualification or recognised senior-level H&S membership (IOSH, IEMA or equivalent).
• Significant experience in a Health & Safety advisory role on large-scale construction, civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and industry best practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote best practice in health, safety and sustainability on a major infrastructure programme.
• Support Directors, Managers and Supervisors in fulfilling their health and safety responsibilities.
• Build positive relationships with client and stakeholder teams and drive safety improvements across the project.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and incident investigations, identifying root causes and preventative actions.
• Monitor actions arising from inspections and ensure completion; mentor junior professionals.
