Job summary

ADM is seeking a Senior HSE Manager (COMAH) for our COMAH designated Oilseeds Processing facility in the UK. You will lead and develop the site HSE, Process Safety and Fire Protection teams, driving safety culture, compliance and continuous improvement across operations.

You will partner with regulatory authorities, coordinate with regional/global technology centers, and ensure effective risk management, incident investigations, and emergency planning.

Qualifications

• Experience leading Health, Safety and Process Safety management in a complex industrial environment.
• Proven expertise in COMAH/Seveso regulations, explosion safety and risk assessments (HAZOP/LOPA/PHA).
• Experience implementing ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.
• Strong leadership, change management and ability to drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the site HSE, Process Safety and Fire Protection team with strategic direction.
• Champion proactive safety culture focused on Major Accident Hazard prevention and risk reduction.
• Drive investigations, learnings and governance for Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Lead risk management processes (HAZOPs, LOPAs, MOC, Permit-to-Work) and liaise with regulatory authorities.
• Partner with site leadership, regional teams and engineers to deliver safe projects and modifications.
• Provide emergency preparedness and crisis response planning coordination with emergency services.
• Represent the site with regulatory bodies (Environment Agency, HSE) and ensure compliance.
