Job summary

Sigma Recruitment is seeking an experienced Safety, Health & Environment Manager for a major COMAH site in the UK. You will own the SHE management system, lead compliance with ISO 45001/14001, and direct COMAH duties while advising senior leaders on safety strategy.

Qualifications

Experience managing on an upper-tier COMAH site.
NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent with environmental qualification.
Proven liaison with HSE and environment regulators.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership across safety, health, environment, process safety and security as part of the Refinery Leadership Team.
Own the SHE management system and keep it aligned with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
Lead the COMAH duties, ensuring the Safety Case Report is delivered on schedule.
Advise senior leaders and operational teams as the site's SHE lead authority.
Build relationships with regulators, emergency services and external stakeholders.
Lead emergency preparedness, resilience planning and crisis management across the site.
Develop and support your SHE and Security team of ten.
