Job summary

Thermatic Group is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager to lead strategic and operational HSE across the organisation. Reporting to the CEO, you will embed HSE values into business decisions, drive continual improvement, and lead the HSE Advisors across sites.

The role requires 5+ years in HSE within FM/MEP, strong UK regulatory knowledge, and ISO 45001/14001 expertise. Based in Salford with a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years HSE experience in technical facilities management or MEP services.
Experience leading an HSE team across multi-site operations.
In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation and regulatory frameworks.
Proven experience managing ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 systems.
Strong risk management and incident investigation skills.
Experience with RAMS and supplier HSE management.
Full UK Driving Licence required for site travel.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of Thermatic’s HSE policies and IMS procedures.
Act as HSE lead within the Senior Leadership Team influencing strategic decisions.
Oversee investigations and ensure timely reporting and lessons learned.
Manage HSE inspections, audits, and site coverage across divisions.
Support tenders with robust HSE input and documentation.
Monitor HSE performance data and report to CEO and board.
Drive continual improvement and maintain ISO accreditations.
