Job summary

E3 Recruitment is seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to strengthen Health, Safety and Environmental performance across a COMAH site in West Yorkshire, on-site with a Monday–Friday pattern. You will guide managers and site teams through audits, risk assessments and incident investigations, providing practical HSE advice and leading safety initiatives.

The role requires COMAH experience, strong knowledge of HSE legislation, auditing and incident investigation skills, plus the ability to influence

Qualifications

• Experience working in a safety role on a COMAH site.
• Strong knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, auditing and risk management.
• Experience with process safety studies such as HAZOP, HAZID or LOPA.

Responsibilities

• Provide HSE advice and guidance to managers, supervisors and operational teams.
• Lead audits, inspections and compliance reviews.
• Support risk assessments, incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Analyse incident trends and recommend Health, Safety and Environmental improvements.
• Support HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA and Management of Change activities.
• Manage contractor requirements, inductions and site audits.
• Deliver Health, Safety and Environmental training and support behavioural safety initiatives.
• Assist with COMAH, environmental permitting and statutory compliance.
• Support emergency preparedness and maintain relationships with relevant authorities.
