Job summary

Guidant Global is seeking an HR Advisor to provide comprehensive support on HR and staffing matters across the Institute, ensuring policy compliance and strong working relationships. You will line-manage an HR Administrator and effectively flag people issues.

In this generalist role you will advise on policy, support recruitment processes, manage HR lifecycle activities, and guide managers on probation, absence, sickness, discipline and flexible working, all in line with UK employment law.

Qualifications

• Have, or be working towards a professional HR qualification (CPP)
• Experience working in an HR generalist role
• Working knowledge of UK employment law and HR practices
• Demonstrable record of effectively managing people

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance across policy and practice to managers
• Support recruitment and resourcing activities and ensure compliant processes
• Oversee HR lifecycle administration and reporting for the Institute
• Line-manage the HR Administrator and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
• Advise on probation, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters, including flexible working requests
