Job summary

PE Global are recruiting a Sr. Associate – HR Operations for a 12-month contract role based in Basingstoke.

The position requires in-office presence 3 days per week and offers a pay rate between £21.67 and £28.89 per hour (PAYE, 37.5 hours per week). The role focuses on operating and improving local UK HR processes outside the global team, providing specialist advice on policy, and balancing hands-on delivery with process ownership.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
• Substantial experience operating HR administrative and operational processes in a complex organisation.
• Working knowledge of UK employment legislation as it applies to family leave, absence and sick pay, working time, right to work and data protection.
• Proven experience of improving a process with measurable outcomes.
• Strong data analysis skills including advanced MS Excel knowledge.
• Ability to leverage AI tools to maximise efficiency and effectiveness.
• Customer-focused mindset and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Operate the full range of local UK HR administrative and operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including complex, sensitive and non-standard casework.
• Act as the specialist point of advice for employees and managers on policy application across UK HR.
• Own, document and control local UK HR processes, including compliance and audit reporting.
• Manage the operational relationship with third party providers and HR data feeds.
• Define, measure and report service standards for local UK HR processes.
• Identify and deliver improvements to process, data quality and self-service content.
• Support HR data privacy activities for the UK and maintain records retention.
• Provide resilience and cross-cover for the HR administration team during peak periods.
