Job summary

Michael Page HR is partnering with a leading infrastructure and support services organisation in Scotland to recruit an experienced HR Manager for a 250+ workforce across multiple locations. This hands-on generalist role covers employee relations, payroll oversight and people strategy.

You will report to the senior leadership team, lead a small HR and Payroll team, drive compliance and best practice, and collaborate with operational leaders to deliver commercially focused people solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong HR generalist experience across a multi-site workforce.
• Proven expertise in employee relations and dispute resolution.
• Experience supporting operational or field-based teams.
• Delivery of recruitment and talent acquisition activity.
• Sage Payroll experience and ability to oversee payroll operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the HR function across a multi-site operational workforce.
• Provide expert guidance on employee relations including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
• Support managers on people-related matters and employment legislation.
• Manage recruitment activity and workforce planning initiatives.
• Drive HR compliance, policy development and best practice.
• Coordinate training and development activities.
• Oversee payroll processes and provide support when required.
• Manage and develop a small HR and Payroll team.
• Partner with senior leaders to support business objectives and growth.
