The client is a Manufacturing/Engineering organisation based in Birmingham
Description
- Provide expert guidance on people practices and HR processes aligned to business plan commitments and change programmes.
- Act as the local HR lead for programme-related developments, ensuring all people impacts are identified, logged, and addressed.
- Influence key stakeholders on the people implications of future operations and transformation activity.
- Partner with senior leaders to embed effective people strategies.
- Identify and manage employee relations and legal risks related to proposed changes.
- Support with planning, analysis, and presentation of people-related data and metrics to inform decision-making.
Profile- Proven experience in a senior HR business partnering role, ideally in a unionised environment
- Strong knowledge of UK employment law and organisational change processes.
- Excellent influencing and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working with or within complex operational organisations is essential
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent HR qualification preferred.
- Outcome-focused, highly organised, and data-literate with a collaborative mindset.
Job Offer- Competitive salary c. 60-70k
- 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working arrangements (Birmingham base, 2-3 days on site).
