Job summary

Retirement Villages Group Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join our People Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a hands-on role across our multi-site estate with a hybrid model requiring at least 2 days on site.

You will manage Employee Relations cases, be the Workday expert, and support managers on UK employment law, policies and process improvements. The successful candidate will enjoy a busy role with close collaboration across villages and our London

Qualifications

• Hands-on HR experience in Employee Relations for a multi-site organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR policies.
• Proficient in Workday HRIS and data management.
• Experience advising managers and leading HR processes.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification is desirable.
• Full driving licence and access to own car.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage Employee Relations cases across portfolio.
• Advise and coach managers on UK employment law and HR policies.
• Support organisational change, workforce planning and redesign.
• Act as a key Workday user, troubleshooting system issues.
• Manage employee lifecycle activity in Workday (contracts, patterns, leavers).
• Help managers use Workday accurately and provide training where needed.
• Support performance management, probation and development.
• Draft, review and embed HR policies and supporting documentation.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and pre-employment processes.
• Use HR data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Support employee engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
• Build relationships with managers across locations.
