Leicestershire County Council is seeking an experienced HR Adviser – Performance Management to strengthen attendance and performance processes across the organisation. You will support managers, intervene in complex cases, and ensure consistent application of HR policies.

Working in a hybrid setup, you’ll deliver training, work with unions and senior managers, and contribute to policy development. The role requires a relevant degree or CIPD and solid HR advisory experience.

Qualifikationen

• A relevant degree, CIPD or equivalent.
• Significant HR advisory experience on attendance, capability and probation.
• Experience handling a varied caseload of complex HR issues.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and case law.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Experience designing and delivering training.
• Experience working with unions and senior managers.

Aufgaben

• Provide comprehensive HR service to strengthen performance and attendance management.
• Support managers to address performance concerns and promote policy consistency.
• Intervene early with intensive case management for attendance, capability and probation.
• Support and attend formal meetings and hearings ensuring policy compliance.
• Deliver mandatory attendance management and stress training.
• Collaborate with HR colleagues, managers and unions to resolve workforce challenges.
• Analyze attendance data to inform operational and strategic decisions.
• Contribute to development and review of HR policies and guidance.
• Participate in job evaluation panels.
• Support wellbeing initiatives.
