Job summary

Cpl Recruitment, on behalf of a leading international law and advisory firm, is recruiting a Senior HR Advisor for its Belfast City office. This newly created standalone role acts as the trusted HR partner for the Belfast site while collaborating with the wider UK HR team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience in a HR Advisory or HR Business Partnering role within a Legal or Professional services environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a wider HR function.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
• Sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert support across the full employee lifecycle, partnering with managers and leading employee relations matters.
• Act as first point of call and trusted advisor to Belfast partners, ensuring fair and consistent decisions.
• Support line managers with performance management issues and provide best practice guidance.
• Advise on HR policy, process and culture for all employees and managers.
• Manage probationary reviews and support next steps per firm policy.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to support Belfast recruitment and stakeholder clarification.
