GXO is seeking a Senior HR Advisor to join our busy HR team on the Nutmeg site in Leeds, covering Nutmeg Brighouse. You will provide expert HR support across employee relations, drive engagement initiatives, support people development and help shape a positive, high-performing culture.

This is a full-time, permanent role with Monday to Friday 9-5 and flexibility. Salary up to £39,000 per annum plus benefits including pension, dental insurance, online GP service, life assurance and employee

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 9-5 with flexibility required

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £39,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Partner with managers to provide expert HR advice and support across performance management, employee relations and people-related challenges
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence and employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures
• Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, events, surveys and communications across the site
• Analyse and report on key HR metrics including attendance, attrition, headcount and absence trends to support business decision making
• Support recruitment, people development programmes, HR projects and cultural change initiatives that drive business performance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced logistics, transport or operational environment
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and employee relations case management
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels
• A proactive and resilient approach, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• CIPD qualification, part qualification, or a willingness to work towards professional accreditation
