GXO Logistics, at our Nutmeg site in Leeds, seeks a Senior HR Advisor to partner with operational leaders and guide managers through complex HR matters. You’ll drive engagement, support development, and shape a positive colleague experience in a fast-paced environment.

This full-time, permanent role runs Monday to Friday 9-5 with some flexibility. Salary up to £39,000 per annum plus a benefits package including dental insurance, pension, GP service, life assurance and more.

Here at GXO, we're looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join our busy and collaborative HR team on our Nutmeg site based in Leeds and covering Nutmeg Brighouse. You'll provide expert HR support across a wide range of employee relations matters, drive engagement initiatives, support people development activities and help shape a positive, high-performing culture. This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday 9-5 with flexibility required.

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £39,000.00 per annum and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you do on a typical day:

• Partner with managers to provide expert HR advice and support across performance management, employee relations and people-related challenges
• Manage disciplinary, grievance, absence and employee relations cases, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies and procedures
• Lead and support employee engagement initiatives, events, surveys and communications across the site
• Analyse and report on key HR metrics including attendance, attrition, headcount and absence trends to support business decision making
• Support recruitment, people development programmes, HR projects and cultural change initiatives that drive business performance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within a fast-paced logistics, transport or operational environment
• Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practice and employee relations case management
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at all levels
• A proactive and resilient approach, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
• CIPD qualification, part qualification, or a willingness to work towards professional accreditation
