Job summary

AMD is seeking a Senior Field Application Engineer for the HPC/CoE to drive technical engagements across Europe, lead PoCs, and optimize CPU/GPU performance for HPC workloads.

You will own customer accounts, coordinate with partners, and deliver compelling HPC solutions while shaping future product direction. Strong communication and hands-on HPC experience are essential for success in this customer-facing role.

Qualifications

• Track record delivering HPC opportunities.
• Expertise in HPC performance testing on CPU; GPU preferred.
• Strong program management and stakeholder leadership.
• Ability to prioritize opportunities and deliver on time.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good business English proficiency.
• Willing to travel 10-25% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead HPC technical engagements with key customers.
• Conduct PoCs and performance testing; profile CPU/GPU performance.
• Collaborate with partners on HPC testing and integration.
• Demonstrate EPYC and Instinct capabilities for HPC.
• Create training materials and mentor FAE teams.
• Own and resolve customer and partner issues; drive resolutions.
• Develop training sessions at customer sites.
