Job summary

AMD seeks a Senior Field Application Engineer to join its HPC and AI Centre of Excellence in Europe, leading technical engagements for HPC opportunities and owning accounts' technical remit. You will perform proofs of concept, test performance, and coordinate with partners and internal teams.

Based in the United Kingdom (home-based) with travel of about 10–25%, you will influence CPU/GPU performance, test new AMD products, and mentor the Field Application Engineering team while communicating

Qualifications

Clear track record of technical execution on HPC opportunities.
Expertise in HPC application performance testing on CPU (and ideally GPU).
Strong technical program management skills and ability to lead technical relationships with customers and HPC partners.

Responsibilities

Lead HPC technical engagement in key customer accounts through product discussion and demonstration.
Perform Proofs of Concepts and performance testing; hardware and toolchain performance debugging and characterization.
Collaborate with partners on HPC testing and provide hands-on assistance.
Pitch AMD EPYC and Instinct for HPC and assist in pricing with bid desk.
