Albyn Housing Society in Inverness is seeking a Senior Housing Officer to lead a dedicated housing function within the Customer Services team and ensure high standards of service delivery. The role covers day-to-day operational leadership and deputising for the Customer Services Manager when needed.

The post requires strong leadership, housing management experience, knowledge of Scottish housing legislation, and the ability to use data to improve services and decision-making.

We are looking for a motivated and professional Senior Housing Officer to join our Customer Services team with a primary focus on Tenancy Management for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.

Contract Terms

35 hours per week (full time), Temporary – up to 12 months maternity leave cover.

Salary

£50,780 – £53,897 per annum, Grade SO3-SO1 + car allowance (currently £1,444 per annum). Salary placing will normally be at the first point of the scale.

Location

Hub, Home and Roam – Inverness office base with hybrid working

About the Role

As a Senior Housing Officer, you will:

• Lead and coordinate the day-to-day delivery of your dedicated housing function.
• Line manage Housing Officers and Assistants within your function.
• Produce regulatory and management reports.
• Deputise for the Customer Services Manager when required.
• Improve tenant satisfaction and ensure compliance with legislation and best practices.
