Job summary

ELEVATE PROJECTS LTD in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced Housing Maintenance Manager to lead unplanned major works and complex repairs across our asset portfolio. You will head a team of surveyors, drive a customer-focused repairs service, and deliver high-quality, cost-effective maintenance solutions for residents.

You will oversee contracts, monitor contractor performance, and ensure work is safely completed in line with budgets and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Experience in housing maintenance, repairs management, contract oversight and budget control.
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
Desirable: professional qualification and social housing experience.

Responsibilities

Lead, manage and support a team of surveyors to drive performance and development.
Oversee unplanned major works and complex repairs for timely resolutions.
Manage contracts and monitor contractor performance against targets.
Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 and health and safety legislation.
Control service budgets and monitor expenditure within financial parameters.
Monitor performance, identify areas for improvement and deliver value for money.
Ensure repairs meet quality standards and deliver positive resident outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and residents to resolve issues.
