Sue Ryder Duchess Of Kent Hospice in Reading is seeking a Senior Registered Nurse to provide leadership and clinical guidance within an inpatient care team. You will mentor students, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality documentation and care delivery that respects patients’ needs and rights.

Applicants must be NMC registered and demonstrate governance knowledge, with a focus on inclusive practice and service improvement initiatives where possible.

Qualifications

• NMC registered with leadership experience in an inpatient care team.
• Experience coordinating care for complex needs.
• Ability to lead inclusive and effective clinical communication.
• Knowledge of clinical governance and inclusive practice standards.
• Desirable: Leadership training or experience in clinical supervision.
• Desirable: Experience implementing service improvement initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership, supervision and recognition to the care team.
• Share knowledge through formal and informal teaching.
• Mentor student nurses.
• Maintain accurate, timely records.
