Job summary

Sue Ryder Duchess of Kent Hospice in Reading seeks a Clinical Team Leader to head the nursing team, drive care quality, and collaborate with the MDT and external commissioners. The role includes supervising staff and ensuring high standards of documentation and patient care.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a clinician with leadership experience.
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary nursing team to improve care quality.
• Competence in coordinating workflows and prioritising patient needs.
• Ability to communicate clearly within the team and with external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead the nursing team to develop high-quality care.
• Consult with and coordinate with the MDT and service users/families.
• Assess service users in liaison with health/social services commissioners.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous records of service user input and care.
• Ensure supervision and clinical oversight for all staff in line with requirements.
