Job summary

Simply Education Ltd is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) in Cambridge to support schools across the area. The role involves providing higher-level classroom assistance, leading group activities, covering lessons, and running targeted interventions.

The ideal candidate will have HLTA experience or a strong background as a Teaching Assistant, with solid classroom management and a good grasp of literacy and numeracy strategies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an HLTA or experienced Teaching Assistant.
• Confidence leading learning with groups of pupils.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• An HLTA qualification is advantageous, though relevant experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Leading small-group learning.
