Job summary

Cedar Children's Academy is seeking a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team in Strood. You will lead learning across the school, provide high-quality class cover in the absence of teachers, and deliver targeted interventions to individual pupils and small groups.

Working with teachers to raise standards, promote inclusion, and help every child reach their full potential, you will build strong relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals while

Qualifications

• HLTA qualification desirable or willingness to work towards it.
• Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting.
• Passion for inclusive education and ability to support all learners.
• Collaborative team player with initiative and ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and external professionals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning across the school and provide high-quality class cover when teachers are absent.
