Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a school in West Drayton, Greater London. The HLTA will plan, deliver, and assess learning activities under a qualified teacher's direction, working with individuals or groups to support positive pupil outcomes.

The role requires HLTA status or equivalent, GCSEs in English and Maths, and experience with SEND. Full-time hours, with occasional training events and safeguarding duties.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or equivalent qualification.
• GCSEs in English and Maths at grade C/4 or above or equivalent.
• Secondary education to GCSE level or equivalent is essential.
• Further qualifications in education, child development, or related fields are advantageous.
• Proven experience working with children or young people in educational or similar settings.
• Experience supporting teaching and learning activities in schools or educational institutions.
• Experience with pupils with diverse needs including SEND.

Responsabilités

• Deliver planned learning activities and interventions to individuals or groups.
• Assist in planning, preparation, and development of teaching resources.
• Support pupils with SEND by adapting resources and methods.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers.
• Supervise pupils during lessons and breaks, promoting positive behaviour.
• Contribute to assessment and evaluation of pupil learning.
• Support classroom management by implementing behaviour policies.
• Collaborate with staff and professionals to support the educational experience.
• Participate in training and professional development activities.
