Job summary

PJA is recruiting an experienced Senior Engineer to lead designs from concept through detailed design for highways and public realm schemes in the UK. The role can be based in Birmingham, Bristol or Reading, with opportunity to mentor junior team members and manage design delivery to budget and schedule.

The successful candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, have strong experience in access junction design, and be proficient with AutoCAD, Civils 3D and related software.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with experience designing access junctions.
• Experience delivering concepts through detailed design stages.
• Knowledge of UK standards and best practice for highways and drainage.

Responsibilities

• Provide design expertise across a varied portfolio of schemes.
• Mentor junior team members and manage design delivery to budget and schedule.
• Produce technical reports and liaise with stakeholders.
