Job summary

Ringway is seeking an experienced Supervisor to support highway maintenance and improvement works across the strategic road network. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for overseeing operational activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, with day and night shifts, and some weekend working as required.

You will supervise teams and subcontractors carrying out a range of highways maintenance activities including traffic management,

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years' experience in the highways sector.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience with traffic management and a Traffic Management Foreman qualification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise highways maintenance activities across the strategic road network.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with CDM regulations and client requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor workforce, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Support planning and delivery of traffic management operations.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of vehicle restraint systems, drainage and structural expansion joints.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and quality checks.
• Maintain accurate records and reports; liaise with stakeholders.
• Ensure works are delivered on programme and within budget.
• Promote a strong safety culture and lead by example on site.
