The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking a Senior Highways Inspection Officer to join our Highways Inspection team. This full-time, permanent role offers hybrid working and a competitive salary.

You will lead a team of Highway Inspectors, undertake safety inspections, manage maintenance and budgets, and provide technical advice to residents and contractors. A current driving licence is required.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified Highway Safety Inspector with NRSWA accreditation.
• Solid knowledge of highway legislation and inspection regimes.
• Experience managing works orders, budgets and asset management systems.

Aufgaben

• Lead and support a team of Highway Inspectors, ensuring inspections, workloads and performance targets are delivered.
• Undertake planned and reactive highway safety inspections and arrange remedial actions.
• Manage maintenance activities, contractor performance and budgets to high standards.
• Investigate customer enquiries, complaints and highway incidents with excellent service and technical advice.
• Support asset management, highway claims investigations, and emergency response activities.
