Kier is recruiting a Senior Highways and Drainage Engineer to lead delivery of a broad range of construction engineering services across multiple UK locations. The role involves temporary works design/checking, reviewing designs for compliance, and supporting tenders from bid through delivery.
Ideal candidates will have IEng or be working towards CEng with relevant experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and a collaborative approach within a busy team.
We're looking for Highways and Drainage Engineers to join our team in various locations around the UK.
Birmingham / Bristol / Cambridge / Cardiff / Glasgow / Leeds / Liverpool / London / Manchester / Newcastle / Norwich / Plymouth – agile working, with up to 1-2 days per week from home if desired
40 hours per week – flexibility on hours available if desired

As part of our 100-strong team, you'll get to work on hundreds of projects across one of the most diverse and high-profile portfolios in the country, with access to Kier's £11bn+ project pipeline – supporting complex construction and major infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery.
Leading the delivery of a broad range of construction engineering services, including some or all of: highways and drainage temporary works design and checking, reviewing permanent designs for compliance and buildability, supporting tenders and preconstruction planning, and providing technical support to overcome construction-stage and post-construction issues and defects.
