Job Description Senior Highways and Drainage Engineer Were looking for Highways and Drainage Engineers to join our team in various locations around the UK. Locations: Birmingham / Bristol / Cambridge / Cardiff / Glasgow / Leeds / Liverpool / London / Manchester / Newcastle / Norwich / Plymouth - agile working, with up to 1-2 days per week from home if desired Hours: 40 hours per week - flexibility on hours available if desired Sector: Working across all sectors of the built environment Join us as a Senior Highways and Drainage Engineer and become part of one of the UK's leaders in temporary works design and management and construction-related technical services. As part of our 100-strong team, you'll get to work on hundreds of projects across one of the most diverse and high-profile portfolios in the country, with access to Kier's £11bn+ project pipeline - supporting complex construction and major infrastructure schemes from concept through to delivery. Practically-minded, with a strong grounding in highways and drainage engineering principles and knowledge of applicable design standards? An Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards Chartered Engineer status (CEng) with an equivalent level of experience? Do you... Enjoy applying first principles thinking to real-world construction challenges, combining a keen eye for detail with sound engineering judgement, a focus on safety, buildability, sustainability and a flair for innovation and creative problem-solving? Have experience of temporary works design and/or management, or other practical construction experience? Have strong organisational and communication skills, and enjoy working as part of collaborative teams?
