Bradford Corporation is seeking an engineer to support feasibility studies and the delivery of highway asset schemes. You will assist in design development, procurements, budget control, and client engagement. This role requires collaboration with other disciplines and external consultants to deliver capital works.

You will lead technical work under the guidance of senior engineers, ensuring design quality, regulatory compliance, and timely project milestones within the highways programme.

Qualificações

• Experience in feasibility studies and planning for highway projects.
• Ability to lead procurement and prepare contract specifications.
• Understanding of Construction (Design & Management) Regulations (CDM).
• Experience communicating with the public and stakeholders.
• Ability to supervise junior engineering staff.

Responsabilidades

• Develop feasibility proposals from concept through to detailed design and standards compliance.
• Provide direction on technical requirements to ensure compliant designs.
• Produce contract specifications and bills of quantities for civil works.
• Assist in procuring specialist services and manage procurement processes.
• Prepare technical programmes with key milestones for projects.
• Assist with budget and project reporting alongside the Project Manager.
• Act as Designer and ensure CDM regulation compliance for projects.
• Plan and assist communication and consultation activities for delivery.
• Provide leadership to junior staff allocated to projects.
• Utilise relevant technical software to execute duties.
