Leicestershire County Council is seeking a Senior Technician to join the Highway Drainage Maintenance team at Croft Depot. You will order works, investigate flooding, engage with the public and contractors, and support delivery of the Highway Authority’s plans.

The role may involve working outside normal hours at different locations from the base, with a 37-hour week and a permanent contract. Flexible working options are explored during the process.

Qualifications

• A BTEC Higher / NVQ level 4 in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification OR have experience that meets the essential requirement for the role and can provide evidence of continued learning and development.

Responsabilités

• Ordering works to maintain highway drainage assets and investigate and resolve highway flooding issues.
