Job summary

Tetra Tech Europe is seeking a Highway/Civil Engineer to design and deliver highways and drainage infrastructure across the North West and beyond, including SuDS and development schemes. You will take ownership from concept through delivery, liaising with clients, local authorities and stakeholders, and mentoring junior engineers while ensuring designs comply with DMRB, Building Regulations and standards.

Hybrid working with offices in Manchester, Liverpool and Cumbria is available to support

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering with progression towards chartership.
• Strong experience in highways and drainage design, including SuDS.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver highways and drainage infrastructure across projects.
• Take ownership from design through delivery, liaising with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead design of highway and drainage schemes (including S278, S38, S104 and S185).
• Ensure designs meet standards such as DMRB and Building Regulations.
• Mentor junior engineers and support cross-functional teams.
