Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Highway/Civil Engineer for our Leicester-based team to deliver infrastructure and drainage designs for residential and highway projects. You will take ownership of design delivery, ensure compliance with industry standards, and support project management and client engagement.

This role offers flexible hybrid working, a mix of office, site visits and client meetings, and opportunities to mentor colleagues while advancing sustainable drainage and integrated highway

Qualifications

• HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline, and eligibility for IEng (CIHT/MICE).
• Demonstrable UK experience in infrastructure design, especially residential and drainage schemes.
• Experience working with statutory authorities and a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver robust, compliant highway and drainage designs for diverse schemes.
• Manage projects independently, with on-time delivery and quality assurance.
• Engage clients and stakeholders, and mentor colleagues within the team.
• Ensure design work aligns with industry standards and safety practices.
