A leading health organization in Swansea seeks a Senior Healthcare Assistant to provide high-quality patient care, supervise staff, and assist in developing individual care plans. The Senior Healthcare Assistant (Level 3) has a greater degree of autonomy than the Healthcare Assistant and undertakes a broader range of health and care tasks in accordance with policy and procedures. The post holder will work on their own initiative within the care home in-reach team, undertaking delegated tasks with appropriate supervision from a registered practitioner or assistant practitioner.
The post holder contributes to assessment and assists in developing, implementing, and evaluating individualised care plans. They will supervise other staff and promote high-quality care.
Assist the Registered Practitioner/Assistant Practitioner in assessing, planning, managing, and evaluating care delivery in a community setting. Support clinical/risk assessments under supervision, providing feedback as necessary. Deliver safe, compassionate care following individualised care plans, supporting patients with activities of daily living and providing feedback on progress.
Responsible to: Team Leader and Lead Nurse. Reporting: Accountable to: Professionally.
