Job summary

Kingston Barnes is recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for a flagship Bristol project. You will lead safety on a major new build, shaping the on-site culture and pushing high standards from day one.

You'll work closely with the client, contractor and delivery teams through pre-construction to handover, performing audits and investigations, ensuring UK compliance and challenging processes where needed to deliver a safe, high-performance project.

Qualifications

• Proven construction Health & Safety experience on large, technically challenging projects.
• Experience working with main contractor or consultancy environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of challenging where needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health & Safety across a major new build project.
• Work closely with the client, contractor and delivery teams.
• Support the project from pre-construction through to handover.
• Carry out audits, inspections and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and best practice.
• Influence planning, logistics and site standards from day one.
• Drive a positive, high performance safety culture on site.
