Job summary

Paxton Personnel Ltd in Inverness area is recruiting an experienced Health & Safety Manager to oversee H&S across multiple construction sites in the Highlands. You will develop and implement policies, ensure CDM compliance, and promote a positive safety culture while working with project managers and site teams.

Ideal candidates hold a NEBOSH Construction Certificate, strong knowledge of UK legislation, and a hands-on, practical approach with excellent communication.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM Regulations.
• Experience conducting site inspections, audits and incident investigations.
• Experience with ISO 45001 and health and safety management systems.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and review company health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation, CDM Regulations and industry standards.
• Carry out regular site inspections, audits and risk assessments.
• Provide practical health and safety advice to project managers, site managers and teams.
• Review RAMS and investigate accidents, incidents and near misses.
