Job summary

O’Neill & Brennan UK is seeking an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead our H&S strategy across multiple construction sites. You will ensure compliance, develop policies, and support operational teams in delivering safe projects.

The role requires hands-on site engagement, audits, and strategic collaboration with senior management to drive a proactive safety culture. NEBOSH qualifications and a strong track record on construction sites are essential.

Qualifications

Experience leading Health & Safety on construction projects is essential.
Proven ability to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
Strong knowledge of RAMS, risk assessments and construction risk management.

Responsibilities

Oversee Health & Safety across multiple construction operations and projects.
Act as the principal point of contact for Health & Safety matters and guidance.
Conduct site inspections, audits, and reporting to senior management.
Identify hazards, non-compliance and drive corrective actions.
Advise site managers and subcontractors on safety practices and compliance.
Monitor compliance with UK H&S legislation and regulations.
Review RAMS, risk assessments and method statements for projects.
Lead investigations into accidents and near misses and implement preventative actions.
Produce clear safety reports for leadership and stakeholders.
Drive continuous H&S improvements and culture.
