Job summary

TwoScore - HSEQ Recruitment is assisting a growing renewable energy and infrastructure business in finding a Health & Safety Advisor. The role covers development and construction phases across major energy projects, with a Cardiff base and hybrid travel across South Wales.

You will conduct site inspections, audits and CDM compliance reviews, advise on risk management, and drive safety governance and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in construction/infrastructure/energy environments.
• Strong understanding of CDM regulations and safety responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Health & Safety across renewable energy and infrastructure projects from development through to construction.

We're supporting a growing renewable energy and infrastructure business in the search for a Health & Safety Advisor to join their expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity to support a portfolio of major energy projects across both development and construction phases, helping to strengthen internal Health & Safety capability as the business continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities of the Health and Safety Advisor:

• Support Health & Safety across renewable energy and infrastructure projects from development through to construction.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance reviews across project locations.
• Advise project teams on CDM responsibilities, risk management and safety governance.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and consultants to promote best practice.
• Support incident investigations, corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Health & Safety Advisor Will Have:

• NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
• Experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities, energy or civil engineering environments.
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and client-side Health & Safety responsibilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence others positively.
• A proactive and hands-on approach, comfortable working within a growing and fast-paced organisation.
