Job summary

Eden Brown is recruiting a Health & Safety Adviser for Warwickshire. The role focuses on providing practical health and safety guidance to managers and staff, conducting risk assessments, audits, inspections and investigations.

You will develop and review policies and management systems, monitor performance and identify improvements, and deliver training and support. A strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and the ability to influence senior stakeholders are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience in risk assessment, auditing, inspections and incident investigation.
• Confident communicator who can influence managers and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical health and safety advice to managers and employees.
• Conduct risk assessments, audits, inspections and accident investigations.
• Develop and review health and safety policies, procedures and management systems.
• Monitor health and safety performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Deliver health and safety training, guidance and support.
• Advise on emergency procedures, fire safety, contractors and CDM compliance.
• Work closely with HR, Occupational Health, Risk Management, Building Services and Trade Union representatives.
• Liaise with the HSE, Fire & Rescue Services and other relevant authorities.
