Job summary

Citizen Housing Group is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to help maintain a safe environment for colleagues, customers, contractors and visitors. You will provide expert advice, deliver training, carry out audits and investigations, and promote a positive health and safety culture across the organisation.

This mobile role covers Birmingham, Coventry, Hereford and Worcester, with 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards) in Occupational Health and Safety.
• TechIOSH membership (or equivalent).
• Experience conducting health and safety inspections, audits and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical health and safety advice to managers and colleagues.
• Carry out audits, inspections and risk assessments, and support safe working practices.
• Assist with accident investigations, reporting and learning outcomes.
• Support the development and delivery of health and safety training and campaigns.
• Help develop and maintain health and safety policies and emergency arrangements.
