Job summary

Delegated Services is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to provide expert guidance on Health, Safety, and Welfare for our West Country customers. The role covers conducting yearly audits, advising on risk assessments, and supporting contract delivery with practical implementations to prevent incidents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site H&S audits and walk-rounds with comprehensive reports.
• Advise on risk assessment implementation, identify hazards, evaluate risks, and establish control measures.
• Respond to ad-hoc Health, Safety, and Welfare queries from customers.
• Develop, update, and implement H&S policies and procedures aligned with UK legislation.
• Review incidents and support potential RIDDOR submissions where required.
• Monitor and research new health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Build collaborative relationships with team members, external agencies, and partners.
• Assist in continuous improvement of internal processes and support strategic growth projects.
