Senior Health Care Support Worker - Emergency Care Medical Services

Join us to apply for the Senior Health Care Support Worker - Emergency Care Medical Services role at NHS Ayrshire & Arran.

This position is part of NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million, extending to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.

We are offering 1 full-time and 1 part-time (26.64 hours, pro-rata salary) permanent positions. The shift pattern is from 1300 to 2100 hours, covering 7 days a week.

The successful candidates will support Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs) and Emergency Nurse Practitioners (ENPs) in the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at the Vale of Leven. Responsibilities include patient triage, treatments under supervision, and maintaining infection control standards in the MIU.
