We are looking for a Senior Support Worker (Full-Time) for our Angus Service
Requirements

Applicants should have at least 2 years' experience supporting individuals within care and should be working towards or have achieved SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care. A valid Driving License is also required.

About The Role

Our Senior Support Workers are frontline management staff, with responsibilities in three key areas:

Staff Management
  • Coaching, mentoring, and supervising frontline staff.
  • Identifying and arranging training needs for your team.
  • Creating monthly rotas considering budget and staffing requirements.
  • Supporting staff in developing effective support plans.
  • Covering on-call shifts as needed.
Supported Individuals
  • Facilitating meetings with individuals and their contacts to gather information for support plans.
  • Matching supported individuals with staff based on their goals and outcomes.
Organisational
  • Liaising with external agencies, including families and Social Work Services.
  • Ensuring compliance with SSSC, Care Inspectorate, and Richmond Fellowship standards.
  • Representing the organisation positively in external interactions.
