Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board (North Wales) seeks a Senior HCSW to support children with complex health care needs in the community, at home or at school. You will provide practical nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse and collaborate with a wider team.

The role requires flexibility to work unsocial hours including nights, with shifts across days and nights; Welsh language skills are desirable and the ability to work independently within a small team.

The opportunity has arisen for the recruitment of a Senior HCSW to support children with complex health care needs.

You will work in the community, at home or at school to provide practical nursing care for a child with specific healthcare needs and others presenting with a range of complex healthcare conditions including life-limiting/life-threatening conditions. The post holder will be required to be caring, compassionate, committed and ambitious to the team. The ability to work well on your own initiative and within a small team. The post holder will be required to work unsocial hour's shifts and a mixture of days and nights.

Dependant on relevant qualifications you may be offered band 3 or band 4.

Main duties of the job
