Job summary

Shirley Parsons is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join a prestigious organisation in London. This 18-month fixed-term role involves leading audits, delivering training, and supporting managers to maintain a strong safety culture across multiple sites.

You will bring Level 6 H&S qualifications (NEBOSH Diploma or MSc) and a strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, with experience in audits, reports, and training delivery.

Qualifications

• Level 6 Health and Safety qualification such as NEBOSH Diploma or MSc Occupational Health & Safety Management.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Experience conducting audits and writing reports/policies.
• Confident communicator able to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience delivering health and safety training.
• Experience in complex, multi-site, public-facing or events environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct health and safety audits and drive corrective actions.
• Provide advice on risk assessments, COSHH, DSE, manual handling, PEEPs and more.
• Develop and deliver engaging health and safety training programmes.
• Support policy development and ensure compliance with current legislation.
• Analyse H&S data and produce reports for senior stakeholders.
• Support event planning activities from a health and safety perspective.
• Line manage and develop a Health & Safety Advisor.

Working within a professional Health & Safety team, you'll provide expert advice, lead audits, deliver training, and support managers in maintaining a strong safety culture across multiple sites.
