Job summary

Principal People Recruitment is seeking a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join a major Construction organisation delivering refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance projects across the North West. You will drive safety, conduct site inspections, lead investigations and promote a positive SHEQ culture across multiple live sites.

The role is hybrid (3 days on site, 1 day in a local office, 1 day from home) with a salary band of £55,000–£65,000 plus car allowance and 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Construction or NEBOSH General required.
• Experience in refurbishment, fit-out, construction, social housing or repairs and maintenance.
• Worked on live projects around the general public.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out day-to-day health and safety across multiple projects.
• Carrying out site inspections and audits and associated reporting.
• Investigating incidents and implementing improvements.
• Attend client and contractor meetings.
• Promote and implement a strong H&S culture.
• Ensure full compliance with SHEQ policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
• Complete SHEQ reporting, including incidents and KPIs.

We are currently working with a highly-established, large scale and multidiscipline Construction organisation who are looking for a Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join their team delivering refurbishment, fit-out and maintenance projects within the social housing / local authority sectors. This role will be dedicated to a key framework and contract covering sites across the North West. Primarily Greater Manchester, Cheshire, Merseyside, and Lancashire

They're seeking a Health and Safety professional to take the reins on all things safety, site inspections, client / sub contractor meetings, accident investigation, driving compliance, and embedding a positive safety culture across the business.
