Job summary

Sanremo Italian Restaurant in Bath is seeking a Head Chef to lead a busy, fresh-food kitchen. This hands-on senior role requires strong leadership, expert cooking skills and a focus on quality, consistency and profitability.

Salary £45,000-£60,000 per year, full-time and permanent, with genuine influence over menus and kitchen development in a central Bath location. You will manage the kitchen team and collaborate with front-of-house to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Experienced Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef ready to step up.
• Background in a busy fresh-food kitchen.
• Experience in Italian or Mediterranean cuisine desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the kitchen team.
• Take full responsibility for preparation, service and day-to-day running of the kitchen.
• Maintain high standards of flavour, presentation and portion control.
• Protect and develop Sanremo’s Italian food identity.
• Create seasonal dishes and menus in collaboration with management.
